Project Profile:
Family Violence Prevention Fund

The Family Violence Prevention Fund, a nationally recognized nonprofit that focuses on awareness campaigns and education, turned to Thinkshift for help in ensuring that a range of communications projects would foster strong connections with constituents.

For the redesign of FVPF’s biannual newsletter, Thinkshift worked with the director of marketing communications on article selection and messaging, helping to develop more substantive and results-focused content. We provided similar strategic guidance for the Founding Fathers campaign brochure, and edited a community engagement manual.

ThinkShift developed the content strategy for a major online education resource, the Toolkit for Working with Men and Boys to Prevent Gender-Based Violence. We also substantially recast the content—initially conceived for an academic print publication—so that it would meet website usability standards and be understandable to a wider audience. See the site at http://toolkit.endabuse.org/Home.html.
